Alberto Moreno will join Villarreal after his Liverpool contract expires.

Moreno returns to La Liga after leaving Sevilla for Liverpool in 2014.

Villarreal also added Raul Albiol as they look to strengthen their defense.

Marco Giampaolo was appointed the manager of Milan, signing a two-year contract with the club.

Giampaolo replaces Gennaro Gattuso as manager.

Giampaolo impressed with his tactics at Sampdoria. He becomes the 8th coach since Max Allegri left the club in 2014.

Middlesbrough have officially unveiled Jonathan Woodgate as their new manager.

Woodgate signed a 3-year contract with the club.

“Those managers have had great success and been incredible managers, especially Gareth, who has gone on to be England manager and has done an unbelievable job. Listen, this is the start of my pathway and hopefully it builds up like that," said the 39-year-old Woodgate.

Paulo Fonseca has been named the new manager of Roma on a 2-year deal.

The 46-year-old Fonseca has won the league in all 3 of his seasons with Shakhtar Donetsk.

"Paulo is ambitious, with international experience, a winning mentality and a reputation for attacking football," said Roma president Jim Pallotta.

Though Cooper lacks experience at the senior level, his playing philosophy with the U-17's is in tune with the "Swansea way."
